Not to mention, the idea of planning bookings weeks or months in advance would have seemed ludicrous to me at the time.

I liked not having commitments and instead just took bookings on days that I felt like it!

Later, when I adjusted my business model to fit my new lifestyle, deposits made total sense for me, and they WORKED for me.

They worked because I was making a change to my business that was best for me, rather than worrying about what other people we're doing.
